Individual counseling is a great first step. Individual counseling does not preclude you from inviting family members or partners into collaborative sessions.

Subject to availability, HFH has small groups designed for children and adolescents. These groups target social skills, impulsivity, accountability, and more.

Group rates vary

Play and art therapies are often considered more effective than traditional talk therapy for children because they offer non-verbal avenues for expression and exploration of emotions, which can be more accessible for children than verbal communication.

Support groups may include parenting support groups, grief support groups, LGBTQIA+ support groups, and more.

Family therapy theories can be thought of as different tools. Through using a person-centered approach, I focus on a family's strengths and goals, to utilize the tools that are most helpful.

I also offer parenting sessions specifically to build skills, confidence, and get expectations met at home.
